| When we finally wrapped up our two week adventure we came home and crashed. |
The second week we spent in my old stomping grounds. We took the girls to the Aquarium, Coolidge Park, over the walking bridge, to Lake Winne, and the Battlefield. It was really sweet seeing the girls in all the places I grew up going to or playing at. I kept telling S and H..."when I was little nanny and pawpaw used to take me here too...and I would do _____ too" and they never ceased to seem surprised. My favorite part of all though was playing in the yard with the girls and catching fireflies in the evening. S and H had never seen a firefly before and Sadie caught a few in a jar and slept with them by her bed.
But time flew by, as usual, and it was time to come home again; it was bitter-sweet. We hated to leave, but were a bit home sick too. We got in late and slept in late and then even took a long nap to help us catch up to Utah time.
We sure miss and love you guys; and we'll be back before you know it.
